Buxton return to league action on Saturday, when they host Chorley at the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium, with kick-off at 3pm.

The Bucks

A late winner from Luke Brennan saw Buxton progress to the First Round Proper of the FA Cup after a 1–0 victory away at Runcorn Linnets.

The Bucks will now face Chatham Town at The Tarmac Silverlands Stadium on 1st November.

Reflecting on the performance, manager John McGrath said:

“We’ve come away from home to a team two divisions below us. You always expect a bit of fight and bite from them, and they did, to be fair.

But I thought my boys were fantastic. We weathered a bit of an early storm, then we dominated possession really from start to finish.

Really proud of the boys, and fantastic to be in the hat for the next round.”
