Matlock Town continued their great form in the NPL East with a solid 2-0 win over Redcar Athletic.
The first half was entertaining but goalless despite chances for both sides and the game was quite frantic at times.
The breakthrough came on the 66th minute when the Gladiators were awarded a penalty for a foul in the box.
Cam Wilson stepped up and made no mistake from 12 yards planting the ball into the bottom corner.
Late on Redcar were reduced to 10 men when Johnson floored Milambo in an off the ball incident.
Connor Washington then made the points safe coming off the bench to score late on deep into stoppage time.
