A third man has been arrested on suspicion of murder after a man died in Chesterfield.
The incident occurred shortly before 1pm on Tuesday 20 January at a house in Southgate Way, Barrow Hill, after reports of a man having been assaulted.
Jason Smith, of Southgate Way, was found at the address and was taken to hospital with life-threatening injuries. He died on Thursday 22 January.
A 20-year-old man from Sheffield was arrested on suspicion of his murder and released on police bail.
On Thursday 29 January a second man was arrested on suspicion of Mr Smith’s murder in Sheffield.
The 46-year-old man, of no fixed abode, was recalled to prison on a separate matter – and has been released on bail following his arrest on suspicion of murder.
A third man was arrested on Tuesday 10 February on suspicion of murder. The 26-year-old, from Sheffield, has now been released on bail.
