A number of bus services in and around Chesterfield are being withdrawn or reduced, with Stagecoach saying fewer people are travelling on some routes.
The changes will come into effect from 25 October, with some services being withdrawn completely and others reduced or rerouted.
The 5 and 38 services will be withdrawn, while the 90/90A will no longer operate beyond Staveley, meaning services to Bolsover and Langwith will be lost.
The 3 service will also stop operating on Saturdays.
Stagecoach said the changes reflected a wider national trend, with the company pointing to the growth of online shopping and the impact of the cost of living.
The operator also said rising costs had led to changes being made to parts of its network which were being poorly used.
Other Chesterfield changes
The 74/74A will become the 74, with the service no longer calling at Woodthorpe.
The 15 service to Dronfield will be rerouted to cover parts of the withdrawn 5 route, while the 16 will be changed to serve the Chasecliff Estate and Green Farm Close.
The 84 will also be rerouted from West Bars to provide additional coverage following the withdrawal of the 38.
Meanwhile, inbound 90B buses will take a different route through Chesterfield town centre, via the Town Hall.
There will also be timetable changes affecting the 1, 10, 25, 39, 43/44 to Dronfield, 50/50A, 54 and 170 to Bakewell.
The 583/584 school services will also be operated by another provider.
Chesterfield MP raises concerns
Chesterfield MP Toby Perkins said he plans to meet with Stagecoach to discuss the changes.
He said any reduction or withdrawal of services needed to be properly understood, particularly where passengers could be left without a practical alternative.
Mr Perkins said he had arranged an urgent meeting with Stagecoach to seek greater clarity over which services are changing, why the decisions have been made and the expected impact on passengers.
Stagecoach said the changes had been designed to have the minimum adverse impact on customers, while allowing the company to continue providing what it described as a high standard of service and good value for money.
