National League North: Alfreton Town 1–1 Kidderminster Harriers
Alfreton Town fought back to earn a well-deserved point at the Impact Arena as they drew 1–1 with Kidderminster Harriers in an evenly matched National League North encounter.
The visitors took the lead midway through the first half when Oluwatobi Sho-Silva struck for Kidderminster, finishing confidently after a neat attacking move that cut through the Alfreton defence. The goal gave the Harriers momentum, and they looked comfortable going into the break with a narrow advantage.
But Alfreton showed their trademark determination after the interval, growing stronger as the second half wore on. Their persistence was rewarded when Siyabonga Ligendza levelled the score, calmly slotting home after good build-up play from the Reds. Both sides pressed for a winner in the closing stages, but neither could find the breakthrough, leaving the spoils shared after a competitive and entertaining contest.
The draw keeps Alfreton’s steady league form intact and demonstrates their resilience against one of the division’s stronger sides.
