New signings
Since that victory, The Bucks have strengthened their squad with two new arrivals.
The first was the long-awaited signing of a goalkeeper. Logan Stretch, joins on a season-long loan from Sheffield Wednesday. Stretch made his senior debut for the Owls against Premier League side Brentford in the FA Cup earlier this year and is also Wales Under-19s’ first-choice goalkeeper.

Joining him is forward Owen Devonport, who signed after leaving Fleetwood Town. Devonport spent last season on loan at FC Halifax Town and adds further attacking options to Jordan Broadbent’s squad.

Meanwhile, goalkeeper Logan Melville has signed his first professional contract after featuring for the Under-21s last season and regularly being named on the first-team bench throughout the campaign.

Scunthorpe United were founded in 1899 and are nicknamed The Iron.
The Iron play their home matches at Glanford Park, currently known as the Attis Arena, which has a capacity of 9,088.
Leading the visitors is Andy Butler, who enjoyed three spells as a player at the club. Butler also served as Youth Development Phase Coach from 2022 before being appointed first-team manager in 2024.

Former Buxton forward Luke Brennan returns to the Tarmac Silverlands Stadium for the first time since leaving the club to join Scunthorpe earlier this summer.
During his time with The Bucks, Brennan made 85 appearances, scoring 30 goals and providing a further 29 assists.
