Derbyshire Police were called to reports of a break-in at Hansons Auctioneers in Heage Lane, Etwall, at 2.10am today (18 April).
Officers remain at the scene of the incident and there will be a ongoing presence there as investigation continue.
The site was founded by James Hanson who is famous across the country after his appearances in hit TV shows like Bargain Hunt, Antiques Roadtrip and Flog It.
