The Bucks

It was a 3-1 win for Buxton on Tuesday night in their final game of 2025.

Goals from Luke Brennan, George Ward and Adriel Walker secured the three points over Worksop on Tuesday.

Reflecting on the performance, manager John McGrath said:

“I thought we started the game really well and set the tone for how we want to play during the week, with a high tempo, quick restarts and high energy, which I thought we did really well in the first half.

They changed formation in the second half and went to a 3-5-2, making it a bit more direct and more of an aerial bombardment, which we dealt with well for the most part, obviously bar the goal. Once we got the ball down and started playing again, we got our wide men involved, pushed the ball higher up the pitch and scored a great third goal late on.”

Buxton have loaned out midfielder Keziah Martin to Hereford until the end of the season.
