Buxton will look to carry their impressive away form back to the TSS as they host Bedford Town on 21 March 2026.
The Bucks
On Tuesday, Buxton secured a 1–0 away victory over Leamington, with Luke Brennan scoring the decisive goal early on.
Reflecting on the game, manager John McGrath said:
“Just a really good away performance. We knew what we were going to get, we knew we were up against a good Leamington side who are obviously fight with relegation and new manager just took over last week, so we expected a reaction and that’s what we got. We got a team full of fight.
But my boys have shown again tonight, away from home, rolled shelves up and a really good three points away from home.
We’ve been working on things like keeping phases of things alive in the final third and we were really bright in the first 5-10 minutes and Brenno in those situations is really positive and he tucked it into the bottom corner. It’s the start we wanted to come away from home and get an early goal and we should’ve had one just before halftime with JJ but Brenno gets the winner and I thought he was excellent tonight.”
