Buxton face a huge clash this Saturday, 11th April, as they take on fellow play-off contenders Scarborough Athletic at the TSS. Kick-off is at 3pm.
The Bucks
On Monday Buxton won 2-1 away at Worksop Town after goals from Connor Kirby and Max Bardell.
Reflecting on the game, manager John McGrath said:
“It was always important to pick up points over this bank holiday weekend.
Friday we played some good stuff against Macclesfield but obviously lost.
Tough place to come here away to Worksop, decent crowd, have a good squad.
I thought we were excellent today, I thought we were really really solid.
Probably wasn’t our most free flowing football performance but there’s been games this season where we’ve been magnificent on the ball and lost.
It was nice to grind it out and I thought second half we could’ve and probably should’ve scored three or four.”
