Chesterfield have confirmed that the Barlow Hunt Ball which was scheduled to take place at the stadium has been cancelled.
North Derbyshire Radio’s Senior Journalist Joshua Smith spoke to John Petrie, Senior Campaigns Manager – League against Cruel Sports about the matter before the decision to cancel was made.
North Derbyshire Radio’s Senior Journalist Joshua Smith also spoke to the founder of Protect The Wild – Robert Pownall again this interview took place before Chesterfield FC decided to cancel the event.
Chesterfield FC have made the following statement on their website on Friday 12th January
“It has been confirmed that the Barlow Hunt Ball, which had been scheduled to take place at the stadium on January 27, has been cancelled.”
