Alfreton Town fans are celebrating an away win for the first time in a long time.
Billy Fewster’s early goal was enough to secure a 1-0 win at Chorley.
It’s a first win for new Alfreton Town boss Jake Buxton who celebrated at the final whistle at Victory Park.
Lewis Salmon on his 100th appearance for the club put in a man of the match performance and was assured throughout.
The win was much needed for the Reds and it’s a big boost for their new manager who replaced Billy Heath in the hotseat a few weeks ago.
