National League North Preview: Buxton start Easter against Macclesfield at The Silverlands

UP NEXT:

Buxton are looking for their sixth win in a row as they face Macclesfield on Good Friday, with a 3pm kick-off.

The Bucks

Last weekend, Buxton won 2–0 away at Hereford, thanks to goals from George Ward and Jesurun Uchegbulam.

Reflecting on the game, manager John McGrath said:

“The clean sheet today is the important thing we have come away from home and it’s not a particularly good footballing spectacle we dug in hard and the lads were phenomenally good.

I thought the first half we were a bit off it but in the second half we were on the front foot, turned balls into good areas and got the ball to our front four who were bright second half.

A great clean sheet again I think that’s four out of the last five now so credit to the back four and to Young.”
