On Tuesday it was a 0-0 draw against Peterborough Sports at The Silverlands.
Reflecting on the game, manager John McGrath said:
“Similar to what the Spennymoor game was, just missed some really good chances across the front four really. The midfield two chipped in with a couple of shots, the keeper made some fantastic saves, but yeah a missed opportunity tonight I think.
Two points dropped, as I thought we played really well in the first half.
The second half was a bit more 50/50, but we still created and we should’ve put the game to bed. But if you score after 15 minutes then it’s a different game.”
