Police have appealed for witnesses after a man was found seriously injured in Eckington
Officers were called to Elm Road just before 6:40pm on 24 January where a 25-year-old man had been found with serious facial injuries. The injuries are thought to have been sustained during an assault.
Two cars were seen driving away from the area, just as the man was seen.
It is believed those within the cars may have information about what happened to the injured man.
The cars are thought to be similar to an MG ZS and a BMW X3, with one described as light blue in colour and the other a darker blue.
The injured man was treated at hospital and has since been discharged.
