The Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup is underway soon.

North Derbyshire Radio managed to get EXCLUSIVE INTERVIEWS with Luis Domingos and Wales Father and Son pair Gareth and Sid Ramsey

Luis Domingos returned to Wheelchair Rugby League from wheelchair basketball last year, won the Championship with Castleford and now plays in Super League for Sheffield Eagles. His form in 2025 saw him selected in the England’s squad who retained the Wheelchair Ashes in Australia, scoring tries in the tour matches against New South Wales and Queensland.

Luis Domingos is part of the squad looking to defend the World Cup won in 2022, with group games against Wales, Ireland and the USA.

We caught up with him as the squad continued their preparations for the tournament..

Gareth and Sid Ramsey are one of two pairs of fathers and sons named in the Wales squad for the upcoming Wheelchair Rugby League World Cup.

Sid has already made his debut, playing against Ireland, and scoring two tries against Scotland in May’s Celtic Cup, while father Gareth, has represented the Wales A team, and could make his first appearance for the full Wales side when they line up against Ireland, USA, and start against World Champions England in Australia,
