A woman has been left with serious injuries following a collision in Wirksworth.
The incident occurred at 4.25pm yesterday (1 August) at the Market Place and involved a collision between a pedestrian, a woman in her 50s and a Skoda Yeti car, driven by a woman in her 60s.
The pedestrian suffered serious injuries and remains in hospital in a critical but stable condition.
The driver of the Skoda is helping officers with their enquiries and investigations continue into the circumstances of the collision.
