Woman arrested on suspicion of going equipped to steal in Buxton.

A woman has been arrested on suspicion of possessing a knife, going equipped to steal and possessing drugs.

Police followed a car in Buxton last night as they felt it was being driven in a suspicious manner. They stopped it in Nunsfield Road.

The Corsa was searched and several items were found inside, including a knife and tools. Suspected drugs were also recovered.

A 32-year-old woman from the car was arrested and remains in custody today.
