Witnesses sought after a man has died in Heanor

Derbyshire Police are investigating after a man has died following an incident in Heanor.

On Wednesday 27 October three men were believed to be outside Boyes shop on Market Street in the town centre, when an assault has taken place between two of the men, sometime between 1pm and 4pm.

A man was taken to hospital on 27 October where he sadly died yesterday, Friday 29 October.

A 47-year-old man has been arrested in connection with the man’s death and he remains in police custody.
