Safe stolen from a house in Derby.

A safe has been stolen from a home in Derby.

Sometime between 8pm and 11.50pm on Saturday 9 October, a house in Abbey Street was broken into via an upstairs window.

Police believe more than one burglar broke in as they stole a safe which would have been very heavy.

The thieves used a duvet to remove the safe from the house and may have driven away from the scene.
