North Derbyshire man owes his life to passers by and a defibrillator after cardiac arrest.

A North Derbyshire man who suffered a cardiac arrest in the Ikea car park has thanked passers-by who saved his life.

Simon Parrish from Bolsover complained that he wasn’t feeling well and stepped out his car and collapsed whilst the pair were out shopping just before Christmas.

Simon and his wife Karen spoke to North Derbyshire Radio and told us what happened and how they are coping after the traumatic events.
