Motorcyclist injured in collision in Riddings

Police are trying to trace the driver of a car involved in a collision in Riddings.

At about 3.30pm on Bank Holiday Monday 18 April, a silver Vauxhall Astra and a motorbike were involved in a collision in Greenhill Lane, outside the entrance to Nisa and the Red Lion car park.

The driver of the Astra did not leave his details but is described as slim with dark hair and wearing a green t-shirt. There was a small child in the car. The car drove off toward Leabrooks.

The motorbike rider remains in hospital with injuries to his ribs, lungs and collar bone.

Officers would like to hear from anyone who can help them trace the car driver, or anyone with dashcam or CCTV footage of what happened.
