Man charged after a man is stabbed in Glossop

A man has been charged following an incident in Glossop where a man was stabbed.

Johnny Joyce (28), of Stephen Close, Stalybridge, appeared before Thameside Magistrates’ Court today (Tuesday 2 November) charged with causing grievous bodily harm with intent.

Officers were called to reports that a 22-year-old man had been stabbed in Hawthorn Drive, Glossop, in the early hours of Tuesday 21 September.

Mr Joyce was arrested by officers from Greater Manchester Police on Monday 1 November.
