A man has been arrested on suspicion of three sexual assaults in Buxton.
Officers arrested the man, who is in his 30s and from the town, today and he remains in police custody.
Enquiries into the incidents remain ongoing and detectives are keen to speak to anyone driving along the A515 near to the Harpur Hill Road junction between 1am and 1.30am on the morning of Saturday 4 December.
Officers are still keen to hear from anyone who has not already spoken to the force regarding any information which can help with the enquiries into the first two incidents which took place at the following times, dates and locations:
- Friday 19 November between 11.45pm and 12.30am the following day in Byron Street.
- Wednesday 17 November between 9.30pm and 10.30pm in Pavilion Gardens.
