Derbyshire Police are pleased to announce that their 2023 safety calendar, created by young people in Derbyshire is now available to download.
Back in February they asked Derbyshire schools to get involved in our calendar competition by designing a poster around one of our key safety themes.
They have been really impressed with all of the entries we received and narrowing the hundreds down to 14 was quite the challenge for our judging panel. The calendar can be downloaded for free and we hope that it will be used as a talking point to discuss those all important safety messages with young people.
You can download the calendar here: 2023 calendar web.pdf
Julie Berry, Youth Engagement Officer said ‘I’ve been blown away by the amount of entries we received for this competition, it really shows how schools support the work we are doing to try and educate children and keep them safe. The creativity and designs were fantastic and I’m really proud of everyone that took part. I’d also like to say a huge thank you to all of the schools for getting involved and taking time out of your busy timetables to fit this in, I really appreciate it and the end product shows just how worthwhile it was!’
Help us celebrate the excellent work of young people in Derbyshire by downloading and sharing our calendar with the people you know.
