North East Derbyshire District Council has launched the next round of its Community Action Grants Scheme with funding of up to £500 available to community groups in the District for projects that support residents to tackle local issues in the area.

The funding is available to formally constituted groups and non-constituted groups who are sponsored by an organisation who will act on their behalf, such as a Town or Parish Council or other constituted group. The scheme is not open to businesses.

Councillor Alan Powell, Cabinet Member for Housing, Communities and Communications said, “As restrictions are lifted and life starts to return to normal we want to encourage local groups to apply for this funding to tackle issues and have a positive impact on their communities whilst contributing to the delivery of the Council Plan”.

More information and the application form can be found on the Community Action Grants webpage.
