Bike stolen during reports of robbery in Chesterfield

Derbyshire Police are appealing for witnesses after a man reported being robbed of his bicycle in a Chesterfield.

The victim, a man aged in his 50s, was riding down St Augustines Road between around 1pm and 1.10pm on Saturday 23 October when the incident happened.

A van allegedly pulled up to the side of him and a man has approached him. The victim has ended up on the floor, and the bike was stolen.

It is not known how the victim came to be on the floor.

Police would really like to hear from anyone who was in the area around the time, and who may have seen the incident.
