The incident occurred on the Holmebrook Valley Trail, close to the junction of Monkey Park and Chester Street, between 10.30pm and 11pm on 27 April.

The rider of the bike, a man in his 20s, was approached by a group of five men who then stole the Sur-Ron pedal assisted e-bike, like the one pictured, and then ran off in the direction of Chester Street.
