Appeal after armed robbery of Creswell shop

Officers investigating the armed robbery of a shop in Creswell are appealing for witnesses with dashcam footage to come forward.

The incident saw two masked robbers enter the Virk’s Convenience Store in Elmton Road at around 6.10pm on Thursday 9 December.

The pair threatened staff with large knives and left with bottles of alcohol. They ran off from the shop down Elmton Road before turning right on to Sheffield Road towards Mansfield Road.

A number of cars were in the area at the time the pair made their escape and officers are keen to hear from any drivers who may have dashcam footage of them.
