Air Ambulance appeal taking off in Derbyshire Dales.

Civic Chairman Councillor Steve Wain and his support team raised £2,234 for the local Air Ambulance charity over the three days of Matlock’s Victorian Christmas Market last weekend.Said Councillor Wain:

Councillor Wain:
“This was a great result and my thanks go to everyone who contributed and helped with the collections, particularly Councillor Mark Wakeman, in some pretty extreme weather at times.

“This takes the running total for my designated charity to £3,583. The funds are already with the Air Ambulance and will help fund deployments throughout the region including the Derbyshire Dales.”

Councillor Wain’s next charity collection for the Air Ambulance will be at the Matlock Town FC V Buxton game at Causeway Lane on 27 December.

It is also possible to contribute online via the Civic Chairman’s Just Giving page.
