North East Derbyshire District Council are aware of the travellers who are on a privately owned piece of land in Holmewood.
We are actively working with the land owner (whose responsibility it is to request action to remove the travellers), local partners, Police and Crime Commissioner, Councillors and Derbyshire Police to safely secure the land and premises at the site as soon as practically possible.
