A Shirebrook resident has been handed a 200 pound fine for discarded waste.

The council and local authority officials are warning people to make sure they don’t get caught out in the future.

In July 2021 our enforcement team found evidence in the discarded waste in Shirebrook. The householder failed in their duty of care to check that the person who collected this waste from their property was licensed to carry waste.

Our CAN Rangers and enforcement team are continuing to work hard to keep Bolsover District clean and tidy.  To report fly tipping or any other waste offence please do this via our Self Service portal.
