Ay up! I’m a proud North Derbyshire lad with plenty of memories and stories to share from around here. I was born and raised in Morton, near Alfreton; I learned to ride my bike on Hall Leys Park in Matlock; I went to school in Tibshelf (the old one that got knocked down) and then headed on to Chesterfield College.
My radio career started at Peak FM – making the tea for Sean and Becky – before moving on to stations in Derby, Nottingham, Manchester and eventually nationally across the UK. I spent almost seven years working in the middle east before making my way back home to this part of the world. You can normally find me drinking coffee and eating a bit of Bakewell pudding whilst exploring North Derbyshire with my family.
