It was a bad night for our teams in the National League North – Two goals from Jordan Crawford and a strike from Scott Pollock were enough to secure Boston United a convincing win against Buxton.
Alfreton Town put in a spirited performance but lost 3-2 at Kings Lynn Town. Billy Heath’s side recovered from 2-0 down after goals from Gold Omotayo and Ben Stephens gave the Kings Lynn convincing advantage. Bailey Hobson and Dominic Smith scored for the Reds to bring them level.
Stephens scored his second and Kings Lynn’s third goal to secure them the win.
