Mike Noon’s side fall to defeat at Ashby Avenue
Mike Noon’s side suffer 1st defeat of the season.
Chesterfield Ladies fell to their first league defeat of the season on Sunday afternoon as they lost 3-2 to Lincoln United Women at Ashby Avenue. Abbie Murrell gave Lincoln the lead after 15 minutes but goals from Amy Pashley and Gina Camfield in the 28th and 32nd minutes gave the Blues a 2-1 lead at the interval.
However, the hosts dominated the second half and goals from Annie Ward and Lauren Churcher secured a 3-2 victory for the Whites in an entertaining match. Mike Noon’s side remain in third position in the East Midlands Women’s Premier Division.

Chesterfield secured their place in the third round of the FA Cup for the second successive season over the weekend. They defeated League Two outfit AFC Wimbledon 2-0 away from home in an excellent performance.
