Mike Noon’s side get a point in the East Midlands Women’s Premier Division.

Chesterfield Ladies had to come from behind to snatch a point at home to Rotherham United Women. The visitors took the lead in the second half, scoring direct from a corner. With less then 15 minutes to go it looked like Mike Noon’s side were heading for defeat but they manage to snatch a point with practically the last kick of the game.

Amy Pashley won a free kick about 22 yards out in the final minute of stoppage time and in true Amy Pashley fashion, she found the top corner from the set piece to spark great celebrations amongst the home faithful.

Mike Noon’s side had chances before the late intervention and probably should have scored more during the 90 minutes.

North Derbyshire Radio spoke to Mike Noon following the game.
