Mike Noon’s side continue to notch up the wins.

A single goal from Gina Camfield was enough to secure victory for Chesterfield Ladies in their league match with Lincoln United Women at Inkersall Road.

In a tight game, played by two of the league’s top sides there wasn’t much to separate the teams and in the end one goal was enough to secure the points.

The goal came in the 17th minute when a strike by Georgina Williams was spilled by the Lincoln United goalkeeper and Gina Camfield was on hand to slot the ball into the next from close range.

Amy Pashley hit the crossbar in the first half as well as a Lincoln United shot hitting the post too. The victory means Chesterfield Ladies are very much in the title race and also keeps their destiny in their own hands.

North Derbyshire Radio’s Senior Sports Reporter Matthew Rhodes spoke to Mike Noon after the game – Take a look below.
